no go foods for 6m?

my dd has just turned 6m and i was wondering if there is anything food wise that should be avoided at this stage?

i gave dd3 everythign

i think you are supposed to avoid honey until 1

I left chicken and red meat until about 9 months I think

Because a book I was follwoing Told Me So

I thought everything was Ok except salt (and therefore salty things such as a lot of processed food) at this age.

They recomend no eggs until 9 months or so. No honey until 1. There is a great chart on the BLW website. I will try to link to it for you (not that I am saying you should use BLW, just that the link is really comprehensive!)

if i was doing it again, i would avoid eggs til 1 year.
i gave mine some (v well cooked) scrambled eggs at about 9 months and she came out in hives - now having allergy tests etc..
It is a very common allergen apparently, but most children will be ok after they are 1 - so the immunologist told me this morning.

Be careful with banana, i gave some banana to my ds (29 weeks) and he had a terrible reaction to it, screamed none stop for 3 hrs (absolute hell) turns out that banana can be a bit funny on the stomach, hard to digest or something, yet i gave my dd it at a similar age and she was fine.
