Dessert ideas for 17 month old

Can anyone give me some dessert ideas for my 17 month old please? I always seem to end up giving her a yoghurt or a bit of fruit. Its just she eats quite a bit of this throughout the day so wanted to try & give her something different. Thanks!

Don't feel that you always have to offer a dessert but if you do try things like banana and custard, fruit and jelly, rice pudding, flapjack (you could make a few, add fruit to the mixture, cut them small and keep them in an airtight container). Shortbread and fruit. Crumble and custard. This Icecream or ice lollies.

Could you offer an alternative for her daytime snacks if too much yoghurt is an issue?

I would change her daytime Snacjs and stick with yog and fruit for pudding rather than anything treat like..

Thanks all. Yoghurt isnt an issue, i only give it after an evening meal not during the day. I just give her fruit for her snack throughout the day usually so just wanted to try & give her something a bit different really.

My thinking was always that even if mine didn't eat what was for dinner they could always have yoghurt and fruit whereas o wouldn't want to be offering proper pudding if they has eaten nothing else..

I wouldn't want to get into the habit of offering something sweet after a meal as a regular thing. Nutritionally, it's not necessary. Maybe plain yoghurt and fruit if they've not eaten much. Children don't need the empty calories of desserts everyday, as an occasional treat it's fine, in that case just give them a bit of what you're having yourself.
