Baby over feeding?

My baby is 7 months old. I was just breastfeeding. I want to aim to get him of the breast so now I'm mix breast formula. Plus some solids. He went down about 9.30 last night then about midnight he had 8 Oz of formula they he had couple of shorter breast feeds in the night and then a good breast feed about 6am And about 9am he's had another full 8oz and solid breakfast.

When he was just breast fed he was not so chunky but over the past month he's got really chunky. He's not over weight it's just how fast it's gone on.

Is he crawling yet? Some babies seem to go through a chunky phase before they start moving then get thinner once they move more.
My DS is the same age as yours and is crawling/never stays still and looks a bit skinnier than his baby friends that are calmer/sitting still, but they all look healthy.

Do you still go get him weighed, maybe you could ask your HV visitor for advise. Mind you I seem to be one of the only people on mumsnet who actually has helpful knowledgable HVs!

Oh yeah I forgother about the moving bit Grin I think it's more because of how fast. Thinking about it my other baby was the same. He's not moving about yet. I will put him in his jumperoo burn some cals Grin

I only ever had him weighed at new born and few weeks later. I don't like to go hv. It's not like he's unhealthy or overly worried.
