Good evening everyone!
My 6 month lo was weaned at 4 months due to feeding difficulties / reflux. He is on Neonate formula and takes around 600 ml per day of this. he has three purees a day and loves them for the most part! He has had chicken and beef, loads of veggies, even cinnamon, vanilla and lots of herbs!
I am aware that babies tend to refuse the spoon at some stage and my son already has a pretty strong will / is leading this! Do any of you have any amazing tips on how to get him to feed himself - sooner rather than later!
I have tried mini rice cakes which he is getting more into, wheat free crumpets (we have to stick to no diary, no egg, no wheat for now), steamed veg, lots of other things that are too sticky. I have annabel carmel's recipe book so was thinking of making some wheat free chicken strips and also some chicken and apple balls, but would really welcome some ideas about how to get my son to feed himself as enthusiastically as he loves his purees.
Or should I just not worry.
thank you!
