Dry finger food ideas for slow-to-wean 9mo?

My just-turned-9mo-son is not really taking to solids at all. He frequently rejects a spoon and is very reluctant to feed himself - most food gets shoved off his tray without going near his mouth. There are some exceptions: he loves dry cracker-type foods like carrot puffs, crackers, baby wafers, biscuits etc.

Can anyone recommend any other dry finger food ideas? I'd like to make some myself so I can manage salt and sat fat levels. Things we've tried that he's not been a fan of are toast, risotto balls, quesadillas. I think maybe he prefers crispier things.

And there's not really anything else we can do to encourage more eating is there? Just keep trying and hope that he eventually discovers his appetite...?! He will accept some puree sometimes and puts lots of toys etc in his mouth so I'm confident this isn't an oral aversion issue.

Thank you x

Have you tried toast with cream cheese or jam? I know jam is not exactly healthy but you could change the topping once he's used to it.
Or spread fruit purees on his crackers to get him used to other tastes that way.
My DS (10 months) always tries to grab what we're eating, so if you see signs of interest, give him whatever you have - even if it's cake or something!

Just remember the saying 'food's for fun until they're one', keep offering various foods, persevere with spoon feeding, don't worry about what he's actually taking in its all about the learning journey at the moment.
Some good finger foods:
Sticks of cheese
fingers of fruit / veg (nectarines were a hit here, cucumber, carrot, broccoli, banana)
sandwiches (I recently blended smoked salmon and cream cheese together to make a paste, that went down well)
Scrambled egg / frittata / omelette
I think it's possible to make porridge fingers and wheetabix fingers, I've not tried it though.
Penne pasta is quite good for them to hold and bite/gum.

DS1 loved these!

Veggie Muffins
4oz each of grated Courgette, Sweet Potato Onion, Cheese (other veg like carrots work well too)
3oz Breadcrumbs
1 tbsp Plain Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
2 tbsp Water
2 tbsp Olive Oil (I don't put this in any more - made them quite greasy)

Soften veg via a quick blitz in the microwave (or steam on the hob) drain and squeeze dry. Mix ingredients and put into (mini) muffin tray.

Cook on 180 deg for about 20 to 25 mins until they're a bit coloured.

Sweet corn Fritters
Small tin sweetcorn
1 egg
1 tbsp flour

Blitz, leaving it a bit lumpy, fry! I use about a tablespoon per fritter. Flip when one side is a bit coloured.
