My DS is one in just under 2 weeks. As of yesterday I decided to replace one of his formula feeds with cows milk to introduce it slowly with the view of swapping over around his birthday. Is this the best way to do it? He's had the runs today but he is a bit under the weather so unsure what the cause of that is.

Ah we're just thinking about this too. Do you still warm it? Bottle or sippy/straw cup? Got the hv coming next week anyway no doubt she'll enlighten patronise me.

When we did it I was still BFing for a couple of feeds but using formula for others. We switched one at a time and we still warmed it but one day I didn't bother and she still drank it all. It's really just a case of experimenting. She's nearly two now and still has warm milk at bedtime.

I just swapped overnight but only cause DS seemed to prefer cows milk, warmed it up and had irt in a bottle for a week or so, just so he didn't get mad abiut the new milk taking his bottle eway then swapped to suppy cup in the day for a while with bottle before bed, then a sippy cup all the time

Brill thanks I'll carry on with one a day for now. We are still mainly drinking from a bottle he's not taking to cups very well (and I think I have every kind!!) He will use the tommee tippee training blue beaker but most of it ends up on him. I have warmed the milk but only slightly I have a perfect prep machine so try to match that temp.
