Weaning

dropping breastfeeds/ adding snacks

D'S is just turned 10 months and on 4 breastfeeds a day. On waking, mid morning, mid afternoon and bedtime. For the 2 daytime feeds ds doesn't ask to be fed I just offer when it's convenient and he never refuses it. There's been a couple of occasions now where we've missed one of the daytime feeds and he hasn't been bothered.
I'm just wondering if anybody found any preferences over which of the feeds to drop as I think now is a good time to go down to 3.
Also, what snacks would you suggest giving instead (just looking for a bit more inspiration to add to my googling)

We are bottle fed, but found we stopped the mid morning feed first. He now has breakfast then a bottle. Has a nap, lunch at 12.30pm, bottle at 2pm, then food tea at 5pm and bottle at 7pm before bed.

Oooh, and a nap after the 2pm nap! Think I always felt safer with him having a bottle before a nap. I'm dreading dropping the 2pm one and expecting him to nap on 'just' food!

Sigh.... Nap after the 2pm bottle.
