When to wean your baby onto solid food? And how to do it? Read (purée-splattered) tips from other Mumsnetters
I've been feeding my baby pure vegetable or fruit purées so far and apart from a few days off we're at the end of our third week. What should I be doing/feeding him next? He's ok when I feed him but apart from the off i addition when he's had a whole bowlful all other attempts have been a few spoonfuls...
What age is your lo? under 6 months it's pretty much fruit and veg. You could mix flavours now though
this book gives a really good idea of what babies can eat at what age and some excellent recipes that I still use now 8yrs down the line
Thanks both, he's 6 months old. We're in our third week of weaning but at some sittings he will only take a teaspoon or two so I don't really feel like I'm getting anywhere but I don't know what's normal
