Looking for some ideas!

On most weekdays, DD (2) comes home from nursery at 5pm having had tea at 4.30pm.

I like to give her another little meal around 6pm as going to bed with no food since 4.30pm seems wrong! But I'd like that meal ideally to be shared with DS (8 months) who hasn't had the nursery tea.

So what things can I make that are healthy, quick and also good for a baby? Atm we usually end up with a mixture of the below:

Cubed cheese
Fruit
Boiled eggs
Baked beans on toast
Rice porridge
Yoghurt
Cold chicken

But it's getting a bit boring and I am not sure it's substantial enough for DS.

Any ideas welcome! X

Muffin pizzas? I'm intrigued!

Like the idea of peanut butter - we haven't tried that yet.

What about little pastry parcels with spinach snd ricotta? My DD is a fussy eater but loves these and they're filling!
Can I ask - what does your LO eat for dinner at nursery? Mine is always starving by the time I pick her up so I'm contemplating giving her dinner at nursery.. However she's fussy..!

Oh that's a nice idea as well, thank you!

I think they get things like pasta with chicken and veg, noodles, cottage pie etc for tea at nursery. Changes all the time!
