Weaning 15mo bf daughter

My dd is 15mo and had got in to the habit of feeding regularly through the night and for comfort - I have continued to feed her as she is epileptic and feeding soothes her after a seizure. She is now stabilised on medication and I'm going to start weaning.
Anyone else weaning older babies/toddlers?

I weaned my 15mo daughter at night as she got into the habit of waking for feeds and was a bit of a boob addict. In the end my husband had to do night duty for a few nights but then she slept about 9-10 hours straight, which was a miracle after waking every 2 hours for comfort. Here's my blog post on how we did it if you're interested. Good luck! mydaughterwontsleep.com/2014/02/06/is-breast-best-when-it-comes-to-sleep-apparently-not/
