DD is 5 1/2 months old. She has shown all the signs of being ready to wean. She is on 5 9oz bottles a day. And Doctor has said that she is ok to start weaning. She said to give a couple of teaspoonfulls and not worry if she spit it all up. Quite the opposite, she was squawking at me because I couldn't get the banana porridge into her quick enough. She still seemed to want more after she'd had it (she also had had a full bottle beforehand). I gave her another serving in the evening and same thing started crying when the bowl was empty. I've already given her double what the doctor said, should I give more? She does seem to be going through a bit of growth spurt (she's gone up a clothes size).
