I'm cooking for a younger baby but things I find freeze well: bolognese type sauce using passata and any veg, fishcakes, any casserole, portions of mash(potato or sweet potato), cheesy veg muffins, mild curry.

It's not really any of my business and perhaps not really relevant, but if you are veggie, why are you wanting to cook meat?

I would just do a range of veggie things like a bean chilli, veg lasagne, pasta bakes, etc. They'll all freeze fine.

Same here, I am veggie but will let the baby decide in her own time.

Just for my curiosity Unicorn and Milky, how do you cook meat dishes - do you taste them?

I enlist DH or whoever is around to taste if I’m cooking something new, otherwise tried and tested recipes go without tasting.

Ok so outwith the veggie serving meat or not debate which is really no help to OP we do;

meatballs
steak pie
shepherds pie
chicken with potatoes and vegetables all mashed up together
turkey mince enchiladas
portions of sweet potato mash
portions of any leftovers
homemade quiche
