9 month old spitting everything out - help!

For last two weeks he's been really fussy with food, would have a couple tastes of this then that. Now though he's either refusing spoon or taking bites of things himself then spitting out.

He's bf and taking milk fine.

He has been a really good eater up to now.

He's got a cold and recently cut another tooth but thus hasn't stopped him eating before.

Could it be a developmental phase or is there something physical I'm missing?

Dd (also 9 months) did this when she had a cold. I just kept giving her finger foods until she stopped. At the the time ds2 had a sore throat and was complaining everything tasted funny. So I am assuming she had the same. It only lasted a few days and now she is backing to eating everything in sight

My 9mo has just done this. Point blank refused any food and was also taking less milk.

I just kept offering the same amount of food and milk and one day he just started again as if nothing had ever happened.

So bloody stressful at the time though but, as everyone kept telling me, no baby has ever starved itself (although for a while I did think I was going to have the first!!)
