Has anyone done the above course and if so, is it worthwhile? I have the opportunity to attend one in a couple of weeks time and am debating whether to sign up. Class is a couple of hours and costs £23. My DS will be 5 months old.

Not done it, but you can get any number of good books out of the library for free and it isn't rocket science!

Honestly, a couple of weeks in you will wonder what all the fuss was about! I did baby led weaning, and even after discovering a severe allergy to milk (poor Dd1 needed an epipen!) it all went well! Provide a good range of foods, let them get stuck in ( and boy was it messy - I would recommend an old sheet under the high chair if you value your floor!) and don't cut back on the milk feeds too fast.

You will get just as good advice on here...and it's free!

Depends. If you are a go with the flow type of person, you will probably be fine. If you prefer to have more of an idea of what to expect then its probably worth it. At the very least you will meet some mums with babies of a similar age to your own Smile

Suppose it wouldn't hurt to talk to the course booker and then decide.
