Weaning

Help me second guess what time my DS is likely to wake when last feed was 5.45pm!!

So normally DS (6.5m old) goes to bed around about 6.30pm & gets his last feed then but today his naps all went to pot & so did his feed times.

He already wakes up at 5/5.30am! Am envisioning him awake at 4am looking for his morning feed - argh! Especially as he is minus 1 feed. Although he does normally have 5 x 7.5-8oz anyway which is a lot.

Based on your own experiences do you think that he might just wake up at the same time anyway or earlier? I know I won't know for sure until tomorrow morning but it'd be nice to have some idea!

Think you are probably right with the 4 am. Good luck with that one Smile

My DS is a creature of habit and has woken between 6:40 and 6:50 regardless of bedtime / what he has or hasn't eaten virtually every day since he was a baby and he will be 11 soon, so you could be lucky!

But my dd would have woken at 4....

Woohoo! A bit of a gurn at 4.15 but then back to sleep until 5.45amGrin.

He sat with us at dinner & I put a small blob of mashed potato down in front of him. He did actually swallow some so maybe that helped Smile

Bit of a delay in replying but it has been a mixed bag the last 3 nights, ranging from 7pm to 5.50am (yaaaay!) and then the following night I was basically up from 2am to 5am & then up at 6.15am (pj day!). Last night was also good: 7pm-ish to 5.40am.

He's woken up crying a few times this evening though so not quite sure what tonight holds!!
