Tinned Salmon with bones

I know this might sound like a stupid question but I have never had tinned Salmon with bones before so not sure of the texture.

I am looking for calcium non-diary foods to give to my 7 1/2 mth old.

Are the bones big? Do they disappear if puréed? Thank you x
