yogurts ok or not?

Ive just started weaning, giving mashed up spud, carrot, apple so far but he gips and has vomited.

Just gave him some yogurt on the tip of a spoon and he was able to swalow it. To me this is a good way of him learning how to push food to the back of his mouth and swallow.
There are no allergies in my family at all, so hoping he will be ok...

I know cows milk cannot be given till after 12 months, is the same true of cows milk based other products?

Thanks x

Yogurts ok after six months according to nhs website who say cows milk is ok in foods after six months just not as a main drink til after 12.

Obviously this is the general rule but if you had special circumstances check with hv.
