What does a 10mo eat?!

It's ridiculous that I can't remember - I had one myself 10 months ago! We've got friends coming for lunch on Monday & I want to be able to provide for their LO, although it wouldn't surprise me if they brought something different if they weren't happy for him to eat whatever we provide.

Would his diet depend on whether they do BLW or would most babies have moved beyond purees by 10m anyway?

Any clever suggestions for alternatives to high chairs? We've got one for DS1 which it would probably make sense to put their LO in but that then leaves us with a 20mo to sit somewhere.

I can't believe I can't remember what DS1 was eating at that stage! Blush If only I could ask them to wait another 10m until DS2 is that age! Wink I might actually write down what DS2 eats on a monthly basis from 6m until he's eating completely normally. At least then I can just look it up when people come round rather than panicking! I find it scary enough feeding adults, let alone small children too!

I would say simply finger food would be best. Breadsticks, cooked chicken, cheese, cucumber... less mess to clear up too!

Agree with heidi. Also, I wouldn't bother with providing a highchair. I had one of those chair harness things which I took with me, if the parents don't bother they will just have to sit with Lo on their knee won't they Smile
