DS doesn't like natural yogurt. Any Tips?

I have tried him on it multiple times so far with, raspberries, strawberries, banana, blackberries, peach and blueberry. He doesn't seem to like any flavour but if I buy a normal yogurt he will eat the whole lot.
Any tips on a type of yogurt to use or a fruit flavour that has worked or a good brand of yogurt I can use with little sugar in it.

I've always bought yeo valley. But if he doesn't like it, just don't give it to him. Try again in a month or so!

Normal yoghurt has loads of sugar in already, doesn't it?

My little one hates yoghurt too. He won't get any with fruit from me or extra sugar. I will just try and try again - maybe with Greek yoghurt. You are not alone OP.

Yeo vally natural yogurt is nice. Less sharp than other natural yogurts. All yogurt contains sugar though the kids ones are worst!! Just try one you would eat but without sweeteners.

Rachels coconut yogurt is yummy. But u will have to check the ingredients. Steer clear of the petit filous muller stars munch bunch Etc and low fat ones with sweeteners then u should be ok.

How old is he? I'd just leave it and try again later. My DS refused to eat yogurt until he was 1, he loves it now (with honey, maybe give that a try).

I'm not keen on natural yogurt but like Greek yogurt which is quite creamy. DD2 used to love it mixed with mashed banana.

Instead of buying different flavours could you make some fruit purée and add that? Will be less processed then. Just keep offering or try Greek yoghurt smile

Onken Natural Biopot Yoghurt (not low fat) is the least sharp brand I have tried. V. creamy and DS likes it.

Why does your DS have to eat yoghurt?

I find this post quite strange. If he doesn't like yoghurt don't feed him yoghurt. It's hardly a problem.

My DS hates yoghurt and I have tried over and over. I give him custard instead.

If you want to persist with plain yoghurt I'd go for Total or Lidl's Eridanous brand. 'Greek Style' yoghurt is, imho, just as bitter and blergh as ordinary natural yoghurt and need a big spoonful of something sweet to make them palatable. FWIW I like buying frozen fruit and blitzing it in a mixer, you can shove it through a sieve to make sure all the lumps and bits are out.

Sorry, the point of that post (which I didn't actually say) is that while proper Greek plain yoghurt is nice, 'greek style' isn't the same thing at all.

Yogurt is basically off milk. It is only made palatable by adding loads of sugar and flavourings. It is no wonder he doesn't like it.

I dont understand why you're trying to make him eat it if he doesn't like it. You've tried, he hasn't changed his mind, so leave it.
Do you force yourself to eat stuff you don't like.

DD doesn't like it either but does like the usual kid pots. Yeo Valley do them and they have a bit less sugar than Petit Filous, so maybe switch to the brand that has the lowest crap:yoghurt content available. I get why you want him to eat it, it's really handy!

DD likes plain Greek yogurt but sometimes I add a bit of Ella's Kitchen fruit if there's some leftover pouch.
