Just started weaning 6mo ds . Now that he is getting real food he has went off his milk . If he can see food he will push his bottle away and try to get the food . If theres no food around he will take it eventually but is nowhere near as enthusiastic about his bottles . He was taking 36oz a day before weaning but now he is only taking about 24oz (give or take an oz per bottle)

The minimum between 6 and 12 months is 20 floz of first stage milk per day, so as long as he's getting that I wouldn't worry too much.

Are you offering his bottle an hour before offering solids?

My 5 month old is the same. Since being weaned he only wants meals so I give it to him. He will have around 20oz milk. I used to worry but now I just go with it as he's happy and healthy. Even started him on snacks now as well as 3 meals as he just loves the food
