Hi I am Coeliac and I have an 8 month old baby who I have been BLW since 6 months. I have held of introducing gluten until 2 days ago, mainly because we just dont really eat any (especially when i am cooking for obvious reasons). How often do you give your baby wheat or other cereals/grains which contain gluten?
I gave her a rusk baby biscuit (think it was Farleys) to try as part of breakfast with her yogurt and fruit - how often do you use those? Thanks

I'd say DS has had at least one gluten-containing food per day from pretty early on; wheat cereals, bread and pasta are all popular. But then I'm fine with gluten so I'm eating the same sort of things.

Be careful with rusks as they can be pretty sugary; I would think of them as a sweet biscuit rather than a cereal so give them as an occasional treat rather than a regular thing.
