Hi all
Very frustrated today. My 10.5 month old has up until now been a very good eater. She would be spoon fed and had finger foods as well.
On turning 10 months I increased the lumpiness of her food a bit more and tried to do some meals that were all finger foods eg meat balls with sweet potato chips and veg sticks etc. Since this change her feeding has become very hit and miss. More often than not she will take one or two spoon fills and will then push me away. She will of course let me feed her something she really likes eg yoghurt!!
My questions are; is this normal and a sign she is becoming more independent and
therefore should I just try to give all finger food meals? If she refuses a spoon fed meal should I just leave it and not try anything else, I'm finding I'm offering a lot of different options at the moment. Really don't want her to become a fussy eater.
Sorry this has been long.
