BLW-ers who FF - when to cut down milk?

Most of my friends BF and purée feed, and are down to three feeds now at 9.5 months. DS is loving food, the amount he takes in varies due to BLW but he is doing really well, eaten normal food three times a day (no snacks - is this something I should be doing?).
He still has four bottles and I don't know how to cut it down - should I even try at this stage?

His typical day:

Wake 7.30
Mummy hauls ass out of bed to give milk 7.50ish
Breakfast an hour later - porridge fingers usually and some fruit
Milk at 10.30, then straight down for nap for 1.5-2hrs (this is the one I think I need to drop)
Lunch on waking at 1ish (doesn't eat much, prob full of milk)
Bottle 3pm
20-30 min nap at about 4.30 in buggy
Dinner 5.45ish (I know this should be earlier, he seems starving and demolishes it)
Bedtime routine 6.45, asleep after bottle by 7.45

Any tips? Or should I keep on with the mid-morning bottle? I've been trying to put him down for a nap without it but he looks at me like Hmm and won't settle.

you could give a bit less in the 10.30am bottle so that he still gets milk before the nap but not as much so it could give him a bit more room for his food after his nap. I didnt give snacks until the daytime feeds were dropped e.g. rather than a bottle at 11am I gave a snack and drink of water at 10.30am and that saw him through until lunchtime.

Not much of an expert on ff but I think the recommendation is 20oz a day between 6 and 12 months. How much is he getting now?

vodka's suggestion of giving less at the midmorning feed is a good one.

DD was FF and dropped feeds herself. When we started she was still on 5 bottles a day. She dropped one almost immediately.
IIRC she then took quite a while to drop more feeds. I think it was maybe 4 months and the morning and afternoon bottles were halved. She went to nursery at 11 months and refused milk in the day so dropped to one bottle morning and night straight away.

Actually, she might have halved the afternoon feed first, then the midmorning one after a little while.
