I seem to be always asking food questions
Tonight I am making tomato and cheese tart for dinner.
DH and DD1 like it made with soft blue cheese like cambozola, or with camembert. But can the 8 month old eat those? The cheese will be cooked through, piping hot etc, so I would have thought yes (in the same way that a pregnant woman could eat cooked blue cheese), but just wanted to double check.
And incidentally, when can you give cheese like this without cooking it? At the moment I am just giving DD2 things like Philadelphia and soft goat's cheese (presume that is OK??) on bread, and then little bits of hard cheese, but she sees DD1 (who is a bit of a gourmand when it comes to cheese) eating all sorts of exciting stuff and she is always reaching for it, and then crying when she can't have it.
