Poo - so much poo!

DS is almost 6 months and we've been weaning for the last four weeks or so. Doing a mix of mush and BLW and he's really enjoying it, up for anything and loves playing with food.

But my god, the poo. He's kept up his milk feeds fine and seems to be doing up to six poos a day. And he's now waking up in the night and pooing - sometimes a couple of the night.

Will this settle down? Or what can I/should I be doing differently?

Think this is normal as long as its fairly normal poo and he's not in uncomfortable, and yes it will settle down [hsmile].

Exactly the same happened here :) it's now settled down to one leisurely morning dump. The only thing I'd say is watch out for constipation (pellet poos) and if that happens give more water, milk or some people recommend diluted orange juice.
