Pasta sauces for non-cheese or tomato eating 1 year old

Hi All

My DD doesn't like cheese and tomato makes her sick. I really still want to be able to give her pasta but all the sauces I have found have one or the other in.

Would really love to see any ideas for dishes that don't include either ingredient.

Thanks!

I know pesto has cheese in it, but it doesn't taste of it particularly, so maybe she'd eat that?

Is it just cheddar type cheese she doesn't like, or all cheese? I do one from the Philadelphia cookbook where you basically gently heat some cream cheese and stir some milk into it to thin it to the consistency you want. Think more creamy than cheesey. Is that worth a try?

if she can eat creamy type white sauce, then you can do loads!

salmon flakes
spinach
mushrooms
etc.

or you could do a carbonara type one, with bacon and egg

How about roasted pepper....bung some whole peppers on a baking tray in the oven, any/all colours although I don't like to mix red and green because then sauce comes out brown..anal? moi? never then when they nicely roasted and squishy/going dark, take them, leave them to cool, then deseed and blend.

Also can be frozen, so do lots and freeze in portions....hmm yum, you can also roast garlic and tomato too to make realty tasty sauce

My DH and I both really love this one from Jamie Oliver. It's the first pasta that comes into my mind that doesn't have tomatoes or cheese.

Darn it still has tomatoes ... but it's very much not there. It's a thin lemony sauce.

what about olive oil and lemon juice, with chicken/fish/veg?
