Cows Milk?

Hi,

My daughter is 10 months old, since weaning at her at 6 months she has not been interested in formula milk at all ( she has always been bottle fed not breast fed). The problem now is that I can only get her to drink 8oz of formula when she first wakes up, if I try and give her formula milk throughout the day she refuses to drink it. Is it safe to give her cows milk? She eats plenty of healthy food throughout the day but obviously i want her to also drink milk to get the extra vitamins.

Many thanks

I don't know as a fact but I think it is the iron levels of milk that is the main issue so does she eat plenty iron rich food and is she a good eater generally? IF so I think that is ok - especially with the 8oz she does have. Would she take 1/2 and 1/2 cows milk/fomula? You could speak to your HV re:vitamin drops
