You can feed them anything pretty much apart from whole nuts, runny eggs and honey.

Dd is 9m and for a while she's been eating things like:

Sandwiches in various forms (pitta, bread, wrap, any filling - tuna, egg, ham etc)

Baked potatoes - loves it with cottage cheese or cheese

Mince

Chicken / fish

Mash

Any veg as finger foods

Yogurts - addicted!! Go for ones with least sugar added

Cereal

Beans

Pizza

Pasta with sauce / cheese

DS is 8mo and has had:
Omelettes, roasted veg (sweet pot/peppers/courgette/butternut squash), fishcakes, burgers, meatballs, veg fritters, curry, pasta, quiche, everything on toast, LOADS of fruit, mackeral, steak, lamb, chicken, veg, weetabix, yogurt, pizza, cheese, scrambled eggs and lots more.
Just give them anything you have lying around are having and see if they fancy it (other than whole nuts, honey and salty stuff).
