When to wean your baby onto solid food? And how to do it? Read (purée-splattered) tips from other Mumsnetters
I thought I was being really good and making all my baby food from scratch at home. I cooked nutritious things and put them into little pots to freeze..then I reheat them in the microwave. But a friend of mine who is pretty up on nutrition said that the microwave destroys all nutrients/vitamins in food?is this true? is the microwave that bad?
If it does, I'm stuffed. Somebody here might have some proper advice, or you could google.I think its unlikely.
It doesn't. In fact, microwaving can actually keep more nutrients in some cases. Tis a common woo thing to say though
