can DD2 have home made cheese sauce?

theborrower Thu 26-May-11 11:43:56

Yes, I wouldn't see why not. Babies over 6 months can eat anything except added salt, sugar and honey (and whole nuts). My DD loves cheesy pasta smile

Yep. They can have everything! (apart from whole nuts/honey/salt/sugar) as theborrower says.

they can have eggs as long as its a solid not runny egg. yes they can have cheese sauce, its really good for them, but quite hard to make (i found) if you are only introducing 1 need ingredient at a time (which there isnt a need too but i know a lot of people do, in case of allergies) if you arent doing that, then just make it how you normally would (without the salt if you add that). some people avoid strawberries (though processed like yoghurt is fine) but i know more and more people nowadays are giving babies fresh ones too.
