When to wean your baby onto solid food? And how to do it? Read (purée-splattered) tips from other Mumsnetters
For the life of me I can't remember what we did with DD1, but DD2 is currently having:-Bottle of milk on waking(7oz)Bowl of porridge or similar @ 8amishSleep at about 10ishLunch @ 12ish Lumpy foods followed by yogurtBottle of milk (7oz)Sleep at 1pm for about an hourDinner at 4.30pmBottle at 6.30pm (7oz)Then bedJust need reassurance this is the norm! When do we drop the bottle in the middle of the day?
sounds fine - at that age ds had just given up his night bottle and was down to 4 day feeds. Up to 1 year a minimum of 20oz is recommended so she is having about the right amount.
p.s. my ds didnt get down to 2 feeds a day till he was 10 1/2 months old.
Thanks for that
