When to wean your baby onto solid food? And how to do it? Read (purée-splattered) tips from other Mumsnetters
I read on another thread that it's ok to use cow's milk in cereals from 6 months on, just not as a main drink. Is this the case? Just wondering as DD is EBF so will either have to buy formula for mixing or express, which is a bit of a pain as I find it difficult by hand and hate washing the pump! Thanks PS I love Mumsnet as a resource
Yes that is right, you can use cows milk in food no problem after 6 months. I never bothered expressing fo food either [lazy]
Does it need to be heated/boiled or anything [cautious mum emoticon]?Thanks
no it doesnt, but i used to microwave it to warm it for cereal especially on cold days
Same here absolutely fine, just not as a drink
Of course, of course.....although remember whole milk is better for babies as opposed to us :-).
