Does anyone know where I can send old bras to? Unfortunately there is no Oxfam near me. It seems a waste to throw them away and I am sure there are good charities seeking them. Thanks. X

Have you tried maybe through a local church which possibly has links to a womens refuge they would be useful in an emergency situation certainly.

i have a friend in SOuth Africa who was looking to get bras donated for some school girls in a very very poor district. SOme of the young ladies are very well endowed, but bras are a luxury that cannot be afforded. You could send direct?

Its not an official charity, but it is all legit, being run by a professor and students of a particular university.

Can't help the well endowed, being a teen it's out grown small bras we have lots of.

DD2 is much slighter, so they aren't worth handing down, I'd need to stick 2-4inch tucks in the bands.

I've got a few to get rid of, and according to that link there's a Bra Bank I can visit easily.
