Just picked up a free magazine (EAT THEM TO DEFEAT THEM) for children from Asda yesterday, which is being used to promote eating veg. I thought that it was an old copy from Halloween, but was shocked to see that it was a current edition. It has some very scary veg inside and a lot of shocking wording, such as "Evil Inside", "Slice it up nice", "Bite and suck out its insides" etc... This refers to a tomato that has an evil looking face. I found it to be quite scary and feel that there is a lot of hidden connotations in here. What are we being pushed towards? Look around you and ask yourself some questions, for the safety of our children....What is going on?
