Checking in too! I wish Niantic would do a special mons day again to help me fill up my dex. I've got several hoenn mons to catch that I never see. Ages ago they did events like kangastan weekend. Or wish they'd do a meltan community day.

I haven't played for ages as i mostly just like catching new Pokemon and there hasn't been any for a while. When i went on today the background is not the same as it used to be. I have the augmented reality switched off as i found it easier to catch Pokemon but now it is just plain white with arrows on the side. What is that all about?

How do you battle team rocket people. I was swiping poke stops but that doesn't seem to be working.

You have to select the pokestop that sort of wobble between dark and light blur

Spin them and the rocket stops pop up

Welcome to the thread @Apolloanddaphne, in Android you need to allow the camera to have access to files. Then when it asks if you want to use the camera tap 'Not Now'.

And please do stick with us, we're lovely. Except me of course, I'm an arse.

I've had a weird glitch happening the last couple of days: when I open the app it assumes I'm at a place 20 miles away, then 30 or so seconds later tells me I'm going too fast and finally locates where I am. Strange.
