Which house did you go with and why?

I entirely intended to go with Edelgard's Black Eagles but in the space of that first battle Claude won me over so I went Golden Deer. Haven't regretted it at all, Golden Deer has all the best people. There's some good kids in Blue Lions but I got Sylvain almost immediately, of course, and have since poached Felix and Ashe. Just need Ingrid and I'll be happy. Also working on getting Bernadetta and Ferdinand. Meanwhile I'm working well as a pegasus rider. And Leonie is consistently my MVP as a cavalry archer.

Currently on chapter 9. Or 10, maybe? A really bad thing just happened.

I always enjoy FE games, and this one seems the best,
I've just finished Hubert Dating Sim The Black Eagles route and absolutely loved it!
I had to re-start after the bad thing happened so I could recruit all the other students and have more tea parties with Hubert I got everyone but Mercedes and the muscly one who's always banging on about training, because I forgot about him Raphael?

I got one of my party members Hubert to a level 50 Dark Knight and he can kill the mini bosses later on in one blow; he's always my MVP because I favoured him hugely, much to my children's amusement.

Think I might have to wait until my enormously inappropriate crush wears off before I try any of the other routes I CAN'T KILL MY BELOVED HUBERT

This is my first so I'm learning as I go. I don't know anyone who went Black Eagles so you're interesting (no spoilers please). Everyone I've spoken to is Golden Deer and my partner went Blue Lions.

Raphael's my boy, you can't have him. I'm glad to have poached mostly from BL before the big bad thing. Got Felix, Sylvain, Ashe and Ingrid. And I regret not picking up Annie and Mercie. I didn't go for a minmax though, I just grabbed who I wanted to spend more time with and who would be most useful and boy, Felix is winning on both categories. What a guy.

I'm with the Black Eagles! LOVING the game, is helping me get over finishing Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I was devastated when I finished that.
I chose BEs, then when the Bad Thing happened I had a little twinge of remorse. Anyway, I'm on about part 2, Ch 5 or so.

Me! Started with blue lions and the a black eagles file,got all the way to the final be battle (church route) and can't do it!?!? XD

Who's everyone's fave character? I live ferdy and Bernadette. I also want to marry Manuela (apparently the women who voiced it is ash Ketchum voice too!))

I love Felix and Sylvain. And Leonie, Marianne, Lysithea and Hilda. Golden Deer girls best girls. Ferdinand is amazing too, so sincerely, stupidly optimistic!

I played a few months back when it was just released worldwide. DP likes to keep an eye on new releases on the Switch and gets them as soon as he can. But the downside is that I can’t talk about it to others who haven’t even tried the game yet lol.

I shan’t give away any spoilers but it gets really emotional a few times. I actually cried a few times as well

I managed to recruit every single instructor but not any of the students from the other Houses. I chose the Blue Lion House and I finished the game within a few days I’m thinking of playing again but this time choosing the Golden Deers. And I’m curious to see how events unfold from a different house’s perspective.

Anyone played the DLC sidequest?

It's pretty good, I thought, then I did another CF playthrough straight after, recruiting the new characters and concentrating on them and learning about them through their supports.

Plus - new classes!!!
Dark Flier was my instant favourite class when I played Awakening and now I can revel in the glory of Flysithea and Airnette! (Sadly, no Flubert, poor lad :( )

I just realised I never did say why I chose Black Eagles for my first run - I just wanted to play the female Lord's route.
I'd managed to stay spoiler free for the entire game, so had no inkling that her route would be controversial - until my children joked about my new-found fascism O.o

Having played her route first and seen things from her perspective, I get incredibly protective of her when I play other routes (Always have to do a 'soul-cleansing' CF route after I've played as any other house)
