(8 Posts)DC 4, really wants to be able to 'play games like daddy' we currently have a PS4 and Xbox one but DC's hands are too small to be able to hold and use the controller.
Are there any particular consoles you would recommend we are looking at possibly the Nintendo 3ds xl.
I'd get a 2ds over a 3ds for a child of that age.

Avoid roblox, lots of mature and predatory unregulated chat online.
I would avoid a new console at that age, our lot didn't really engage until they were 6/7.
You could just get a small controller....

Ok. I would suggest a good old gameboy colour.
Small, portable, loads of games, not to expensive. You can pick them up in nice bright colours. Perfect.
Otherwise my little one has an amazon kids kindle. She is 2 and plays little games on it and watches mostly fireman Sam.
Gameboy is a good idea.
Leapfrog also make game devices for kids with loads of different games.
At that age ours liked the occasional go on our old wii. I know it’s old school now but it’s fun and simple
Haha. I wouldn’t let my kid near the wii controller. Dp would go mad if she klonked the tv.
