Playing Fortnite on PS4 and Xbox one

Hi

DS has use of both Xbox one and PS4 and believes it's possible to play the same game of fortnite on both? So not have to buy two separate battle passes?

He has set up an epic game account but when he went to login on the Xbox it said it wasn't available?

Any ideas?

Isn't it Pubg for Xbox and fortnite for ps4?

He's definitely got fortnite on both Xbox and PS4, but currently only a battle pass on the PS4 as that's the main one he plays on

I'm no expert but Fortnite is definitely available on Xbox, I have a 14 year old who would spend every waking hour on it given the chance.

No you cant use the same account on Xbox and ps4 (unfortunately) I think you can on the Xbox and mobile game

you need to download the epic games launcher on a computer and then link the accounts through that.
