Do I need a PS4 Pro?!

Trying to decide this and getting nowhere.

I don’t have a 4K tv, I’ve also got sight problems so tbh unless there’s a mega difference in graphics it’ll pass me by

Do I need to spend the extra money? Will Sony suddenly stop releasing updates for the base system or will I be alright for a couple of years?

Currently an Xbox owner but switching because I’ve got more friends on PlayStations so will be better for online stuff. Also not fussed about any Xbox exclusives tbh.

We have a 4K but haven't upgraded as there is a new PlayStation due out next year.
