I'm just used my second ever lucky egg. Im only level 25 too. Clearly I lost something with this game! My maniacal overlords dc won't let me evolve anything without them present now so I'm storing evolves up. Got my rapidash now after walking about 25km with my ponyta

Checking in - still 27000 off level 24 so feeling like it's an age since we've been on level 23 & still seen 101 & caught 100! Nothing new since August so very annoying & boring!!

Keep hatching ratattas, pidgeys & Weedles (2k or 5k eggs - not had a 10k since I hatched my Snorlax) so that's very annoying too!

Yesterday I spent 10 balls on a fucking weedle only for the little shit to poof! It was cp10 weedle! And I used ultra balls.

If I have to throw more than 2 balls at a Pidgey, Weedle, etc I stop bothering to catch it and tell it to fuck off.

It is so random though. Another day I caught a Eevee with 600+ CP and one regular ball did it.

I've a question about the White CP arc over the poke ins heads. The Pokemon in the two screenshots I've posted are similar CP but the arc is far further over on the slightly lower CP Pokemon which is also the one with the IVs. Do you think it has any baring on how high a CP the Pokemon will be if I evolve it. Iyswim

I've noticed the same thing with other almost identical Pokemon.

I need to get a decent male nidoran because I've got enough candy to evolve all the way to nidoking but don't have a good enough one to do it with.

Found out my new house isn't a complete desert after all - got a spawn spot right in the house but half the time my GPS won't work inside.

Still don't get how people are calculating IVs.

I'm 24 candies off a Genga. And typically, have just got a super strong Gastly.

Dilemma about evolving and then having to wait longer for the Genga.

Does it really matter how strong they are? You can power them up later.

Unless you are going to use them in gyms which you normally have a line of 6 pokemon to go through to take over a gym. It doesnt matter that much.

It isnt hard to knock a pokemon out of gym.

Checking in on the new thread as a very infrequent poster.

I neither live nor work in a town, so don't have easy access to any Pokestops. I'm therefore at a point where I usually have to ration balls for when I come across something rare or unusual.

Having said that I had a VERY constructive trip round Sainsburys this morning. They have a Pokestop that you can access both in store and in the car park. I therefore walk round, phone in hand (hiding under my shopping list), topping up and then often sit in the car park for another 5 mins or so to make the most of the Stop.

It also sits on a small stream, so you can often get slightly more unusual Pokemon there. Today I caught a record 3 brand new monsters within the hour I was there (previously had 74 uniques (76 spotted including a Dragonite very early on in the game) - A Starmie, a Golduck and a Dratini.

DS, who hadn't accompanied me, was most jealous.

I only really worry about the cp, when I think it might be a new one of my top six, if it's not I just impulsively evolve for new things I'm regularly told this isn't the right strategy but I get so bored 😂

I do that too. Keep 6 srong ones powered up to the max and trade everything else below so can evolve and fill pokedex, with a lucky egg on when evolve. I dont see the flaw in that.

Pondering whether to use a lucky egg tonight. Have got 70 to evolve but only new one and that will take me up to 160k (200 needed) so not enough to reach 27.
Yay or nay?

Can you get 70 evolutions done with one egg? Last time I did 38 and there was less than ten minutes left when I was done.
