Ark - age suitability

My DC really want to play Ark but it's rated a 16. They are 10 & 7.

We've allowed Star Wars Battlefront which is the same age rating so I wonder how it compares.

I don't let them play online so that wouldn't be an issue - so it seems that there's quite a kit of blood when they kill the dinosaurs

Has anybody played it or have DC who have played it?
