Suggestions for games available on PC

Hi all! looking for suggestions for games that my father can play., perhaps download to his computer (he has access to the internet).

He's in his seventies, he likes to play solitaire but has asked me which other games he can play 'on the computer'.

He just has a PC so no access to apps or anything like that. Looking for some simple games he might like. (He's good at board games and can play chess and bridge). Thanks for any help!

I'd suggest looking at steam, and going through what they have in the categories he may like.

2048 is online here gabrielecirulli.github.io/2048/ and is very addictive.

There are loads here too including different versions of solitaire www.sheppardsoftware.com/braingames/braingames.htm all playable online for free so he could try a few and see what he likes. I think you're looking for the genre puzzle/strategy games, if that helps you search.

Nightmare, isn't it? I had a phase of it and then managed to stop, then someone kindly showed me the Dr Who version which quickly got me back on 2048 again. I still haven't actually made it to 2048, it drives me nuts but I can't stop!
