I've just played and enjoyed the latest Tomb Raider. I'm trying to get into The Last of Us because of all the hype but I'm just finding it really boring.
Galaxy The Last of Us will have at least 4 difficulty settings. I usually play the first play-through on 'easy' or 'normal' (depending on the game), as I really want to concentrate on the story and get the full gist of what is going on. Easy shouldn't be too difficult if you are a WOW player, I guess its the getting use to the PS3 controller rather than a keyboard. Even if you find it a bit hard in the beginning, its worth persevering because it does have an amazing story and great graphics (not played it yet, but its on my list ). I've play the Uncharted series from Naughty Dog, and they are amongst my all-time favourite games.
Oh and btw, by the time you are even a third of the way through the game, you'll probably be thinking 'yep, I've got this' in regards to the shooting aspect of the gameplay. I can remember going through that whole learning curve on the PS3 in Uncharted 1 not that long ago.
Thanks everyone! I've tried LA Noire & Sleeping Dogs and wasn't a fan of either (remember loving True Crime so surprised I hates sleeping dogs as it had a similar feel).
Playing through Diablo 3 (ps3), it's good (on the platform for once!) & the multiplayer is well done.
Games I've enjoyed are the Batman series, good fun. Castlevania games are good..little bit jump scary but not unplayable with it and they don't depend on having played all the earlier titles either. If you want a really weird game and its hit or miss with this one whether people like it is Catherine. Like I say, a weird game but I have always found the Japanese games with sexual themes quite humorous like the Shadow Hearts games on PS2.
