The trailer is , it has an 18 rating, and PEGI describe it's content as "Extreme violence - Multiple, motiveless killing - Violence towards defenceless people - Strong language". Decide for yourself.

I wouldn't buy it for my 14yo but that's my choice. Plenty of other good games about without buying 18 certificate ones for minors.

Other peoples experience with the game so I can decide. If I decide I will get a sports game but he wants it and has played it at a friends

My dh has hit man. It's very violent. Not suitable for a 14 yr old at all.

Basically walking about strangling people or stabbing them !!

If your son is responsible and mature enough to know the difference between fiction and reality then I don't see why not that's for you to judge

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like a worrying amount of violence! i can just imagine him recreating scenes with his friends. He knows it's fake but it won't stop him thinking it's a cool career path. I'll buy FIFA - then he can become a well rounded premier league footballer!

Glad you've said that, it's not the best thing really. There's plenty of time for games like that when they are older

I was shocked at the content even for an adult to be honest.. and I'm someone that loves horrors and all sorts!

In the online version apparently dh tells me you can create your own "hit" and specify how and where someone has to die even down to methods and then other people have the chance to complete your task for points !

So I downloaded a demo and tbh I got addicted to the game myself may just buy for myself and play along with ds. He will only play when I am playing with him. My way of getting him the game but also controlling usage and exposure and also bonding at the same time
