Multi Game Cards for DSi

I've just bought myself a DSi and have been told by a friend that you can get cards with large numbers of games loaded on to them for about £50. Obviously, I'm aware that these are illegal and so of course no one on Mumsnet would have ever bought one of these or condone their use, but do you know if they work or is it just a scam?

Thanks

i know the R4 versions work on the ds (not sure about dsi) but i know there is one that does work but not sure what its called. obviously it would have to come from a friend of a friend rather than on ebay to be extra sure!

An R4 is (no where near £50) but anyway it's a homebrew device one of many that takes a media card of some sort or has built in memory and a usb lead, you connect it to your PC and download your ill gotten gains to it that you have acquired online from bit torrent sites and the like. (thats what most people do altho you can make your own games and apps perfectly legally and download them instead).

Most countries have banned them, all forms of Modding are illegal in this country (stupid that seeing as even my 360 with the modded/improved cooling system is deemed illegal even tho it doesn't play anything other then perfectly legit games).

Saying all that I don't think the R4 type devices are what you are talking about, I think what you have heard about are the dodgey 100 in 1 carts from China that are sold on ebay and should be avoided like the plague as they very often do not save data and break within 5 mins if they even worked properly in the first place.
