Vegan & gluten free friend

Hello, I’m having a couple of friends over soon and one guest is vegan and gluten free (she’s intolerant). I’m vegetarian myself but struggling for ideas what to make that would suit all.
I was thinking some tapas type dishes.
Can anyone help with some inspiration please?
Also struggling with dessert as she says she’s allergic to chocolate and oranges (she isn’t, she will eat white chocolatier but let’s humour her for the greater good).
Many thanks in advance.

People who have an allergy to chocolate can often eat white chocolate because it's not choclate and has no cocoa in it.

What about this? minimalistbaker.com/easy-baked-cheesecake-vegan-gf/

You could make ratatouille and serve it with rice or polenta for a main dish, with possibly a green salad as well.
Autumn fruits like plums apples blackberries pears simmered together to make a compote, maybe served with gluten free biscuits, would be a simple pudding.
It you do the tapas option, you could do things like garlic mushrooms, green beans or butter beans in a tomato sauce, red pepper & tomato salad, grilled aubergine slices etc etc.

Have a lovely evening! Wine Wine Wine

Rachael Ray's veg head chili
www.google.com/amp/s/www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rachael-ray/veg-head-three-bean-chili-recipe-1940118.amp
Using veg stock not beer... and if there is any difficulty finding the refried beans, it is perfectly possible (and cheaper ) to substitute with mushy peas if you correct the seasoning with some extra cumin and lime juice.

The accompaniments suggested could include guacamole instead of cream.

You could do a meat free chilli (using quorn mince, green lentils, chilli beans in chilli sauce, taco beans, baked beans and chilli powder) served with rice and Nachos (check label).

For pudding you could have sorbet?

The cheese (oops not cream) is nice but not essential...

Quorn mince isn't vegan

There is a vegan quorn mince but it has gluten in.

I had/have a mostly vegan/gf diet and ate a lot of chilli and curry, curry is really easy to jazz up and turn into a lovely big meal (mind naans though, they often have yoghurt in) Dessert wise my go to recipes are all chocolate based really so not helpful, but minimalist baker has loads of things which are vegan and gluten free and you'll likely find something there!

I wouldn’t use quorn (even the vegan ones) because people can be quite allergic to it.

This is a fab white bean chilli recipe. Just leave out the cheese and use a gluten free beer.

Anything Deliciously Ella. A nice veggie tagine with short grain brown rice perhaps?

These potatoes would make a nice tapas dish with a non-spicy salsa

Or you could do a Patatas bravas type dish

You can make lots of lovely vegan gluten free foods. Think about curries, a stuffed squash, or even vegan keto foods. What sort of evening meal are you planning for the other guests?

Vegetable themed pasta with glutton free pasta. Quick and easy.

Gluten free pasta tastes the same as any pasta with a sauce. Tomato, basil and marscarpone sauce is nice, you could add some button mushrooms. I'd eat a lot of that!

You can buy gluten free puddings, look online. There's always fresh fruit, strawberries and raspberries with cream, very nice.

Nairns oatcakes with cheese afterwards.
