Do NHS GPs do private vaccines or do I have to travel?

Dd wasn't well at the weekend and it was a struggle for both of us. She was so frightened because she didn't understand what was happening. I'm now thinking about getting the chicken pox vaccine so that's one less week of illness she will have to go through. Do regular GPs do private vaccines or would I have to travel to one of those immunisation clinic places? It's a big factor in whether we'd be able to afford it or not.

Our GP does practically everything except CP privately.

We had to go to London for that. We had to go for 2 doses, weeks apart, so train fares were a real hit.

Ah, that must be annoying! I might give ours a ring later to check now that I know some GPs do vaccines smile
