My son is due for his MMR booster at 3.4 years. I have a newborn baby who is EBF. Will my antibodies be enough to protect her or should I be concerned?

Any advice much appreciated.

You do not become infectious following MMR, even if there are mild symptoms.

Link to relevant NHS page.

I was given the MMR after dd2. I felt awful but there has been no effect on DD, I was not rubella immune so she had no antibodies from me either.

OP - the MMR does not shed from older sibling to baby - ever, so there is absolutely zero risk to giving the MMR in your situation.

That's excellent news, thanks all!
