Why don't you want her to have it?

WineGoodChildrenBad Thu 22-Sep-11 22:22:03

Well I hope to God you based your decision on a lot more information than you've provided here.

TrillianAstra Thu 22-Sep-11 22:22:35

YABVU unless she has a medical condition that makes it likely that she will have a severe reaction to the vaccine.

AnyFucker Thu 22-Sep-11 22:23:10

Oh yes, she will really thank you for this in later life

Good on you ! hmm

Sevenfold Thu 22-Sep-11 22:23:17

why?
do you agree with cancer<<<puzzled>>>>

banana87 Thu 22-Sep-11 22:23:33

Why??

eurochick Thu 22-Sep-11 22:24:00

Erm, yes why?

featherbag Thu 22-Sep-11 22:24:00

YABU.

What does she want? Does she understand about cervical cancer?

Hulababy Thu 22-Sep-11 22:24:17

Why do you not agree with the vaccination?

What does your DD feel about this? I assume she is old enough to have a choice?

splashymcsplash Thu 22-Sep-11 22:25:24

YABU

NoMoreWasabi Thu 22-Sep-11 22:25:24

If she could have a vaccine against strains of say bowel cancer or breast cancer, would you let her have it?

worraliberty Thu 22-Sep-11 22:25:46

How on earth do you expect anyone to decide whether you're being unreasonable if you can't be bothered to type a proper opening post? confused

FantasticDay Thu 22-Sep-11 22:26:58

Why wouldn't you want your daughter protected against cervical cancer?

fluffles Thu 22-Sep-11 22:27:07

yes. yabu.

FunnysInTheGarden Thu 22-Sep-11 22:27:12

of course YABU

TheLadyEvenstar Thu 22-Sep-11 22:29:20

err yes YABVU

ReadyToDrink Thu 22-Sep-11 22:29:31

YANBU. If you let her have the vaccination she'll think that she's free to have as much wild & uninhibited sex as she wants. Within the year you'll be a grandmother and she'll be mad with syphilis.

SnakeOnCrack Thu 22-Sep-11 22:30:21

Yabu, unless there is some reason you haven't disclosed then I think you are being irresponsible.

madhattershouse Thu 22-Sep-11 22:30:50

YABU I would march my dd's down there to get the jab today if I could!

maddy68 Thu 22-Sep-11 22:32:58

my beautiful, wonderful, step mum died of cervical cancer. Wish she had had the vaccine sad

Sevenfold Thu 22-Sep-11 22:34:04

why has the op started this thread again, wonder if she is having pc issues

DogGoneMad Thu 22-Sep-11 22:35:18

Because she is 12 and I worried about the effects of the vaccine. People end up damaged by vaccines and it scares me.

DogGoneMad Thu 22-Sep-11 22:36:00

Sorry my pc went mad!
