Flear country cottages?

After extensive research, think this looks like our best option for self-catering with 3 little ones (under 3). Has anyone been? What is it like? In Devon, and looks beautiful on the website.

Haven't been sorry. Spent n=New Year at a place called The Chapel ( 27 Marksbury, Bath, Somerset BA2 9HR). Really liked it. Can retrieve contact details if you like?

We went when my DD was 3 and I was 7 months pregnant with my DS. Had a great time. Rented the smallest cottage, cosy and well equipped. My DD loved walking round farm in morning with DH as well as indoor and outdoor play areas. Kingsbridge is a nice small town and had a lovely day in Salcombe. If beach weather we were recommended to go to a National Trust beach opposite Salcombe and then took a small motor boat across for lunch. Can't recall name, sorry but if you look on map should be easy to find.

Only downside is that lanes near Flear Farm are single track so you pray you don't meet anything coming other way!

Bootoyou = thank you for advice ... how long ago was it you went? How far away is Salcombe? And was there plenty for children to do onsite?

It was nearly 6 years ago when I went so site may have changed hands. However looking at their web page playbarn etc seem similar. Semmed to be lots to do with the playbarn and swings/climbing frame outside as well as looking at animals. DD has asthma and was a bit chesty when we went so didn't get to use the pool.

Salcombe is not too far away, maybe 30 mins?
